Community service is built into the fabric of 1st Network Insurance.  Our employees serve on 4 nonprofit boards and volunteer their time to many community charitable events.  Participation in various local events brings us closer to the needs of our clients and community.

On August 2nd we presented the donation check to the Garland County Red Cross.

Ben Blankenship’s name was drawn as the annual referral winner. Civitians was his selected non-profit. Listed in the photo is Kay Ekey, President of Civitians, Helen Ball and Ben Blankenship

Sunrise Rotary Club donated $3500 to Quapaw House as part of the national Make Things Happen program. They were the only ones in Arkansas who made it to the finals during this campaign. Above are some of the members who worked in the garden that was entered into the contest. The contest awarded insurance agents who work in the community to help support their projects. “without the help of Jeff Messersmith, we would not have gotten the garden project even started,” said Helen Ball in the release. 1st Network participated in the 2014 Hot Springs Village Business Expo along with other prominent businesses within the community. Pictured in the 1st Network’s Cinco De Mayo booth is Helen Ball. Door prize was a thermal tote bag complete with Margarita glasses, mix and salt, Mexican Piñata and Maracas. Patrons were treated to a photo opt- photographed as Mexican Senor & Senorita.

1st Network Insurance was proud to help sponsor the 4th Annual ”A Very Special Pageant Under the Sea” for special needs girls. The event’s contestants (Princesses and Queens) were each judged for beauty, talent and personality. Matt Mosler, Channel 4, Little Rock TV personality, was the master of ceremonies and provided a vocal performance. All Contestants received a trophy for their participation.

1st Network Insurance, along with the other businesses within the shopping center, recently participated in the Winston Plaza Block Party on Airport Road.  Refreshments and prizes were given away and drawings were held for a $50 certificate for KJ’s Steak House, as well as the grand prize of 2 nights- stay at Echo Canyon.

1st Network  participated in the British Car Week Valve Cover Race which was  held Saturday,  June 1, 2013 at the Ponce de Leon Center in Hot Springs Village.  All cars were  made of engine valve covers with a maximum length of 30 inches.    1st  Network was on  hand to  launch  the valve car from a 8 foot incline,  competing against other locally sponsored valve cars.  Although, the  1st Network valve car  did not take home any trophies,  great fun was had by all!


Hog Rally May 4, 2013

Cool temperatures, rain and wind did not dampen the festivities as 1st Network set up their Safeco Insurance  booth at the  Hog Rally at the Hot Springs Convention Center.  Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiasts from all over Arkansas and other states were present  for motorcycle contests and fellowship.
